How fast can Bare-Metal Disaster Recovery restore a production line?

Unlike traditional file-level backups that require reinstalling the OS and configuring applications from scratch, Bare-Metal Recovery restores the entire system state—OS, drivers, applications, and data—directly onto raw hardware. Standard backups only save your files (e.g., PDFs, database tables). If a server’s motherboard fries or ransomware destroys the operating system, you first have to source a new server, install Windows Server, download updates, install SQL, configure the network, and THEN restore the files.
